*NOTE there has been a change in the DC mandatory courses for the 2009-2011 renewal cycle. "Ethics" has been replaced by "Financing Issues/Update". "Ethics" will be offered as a DC elective.
NOTE: There has been a change in the Maryland mandatory courses for 2012.  Brokers, Branch Office Managers & Team Leaders must take "MREC Broker Supervision".  Licensees who provide Commercial brokerage services only, must take "MREC Agency-Commercial".  All other licensees must take "MREC Agency-Residential".
NOTE: Enrollment will be "CLOSED" when maximum classroom capacity is reached.

TUITION
Each 3-hour course is $40 and each 1.5-hour course is $20 unless otherwise noted. Pre-register on-line at least 24 business hours by MasterCard, VISA, or Discover (There is a 4% service fee for credit/debit card purchases i.e. $1.60 fee for a $40 course; $0.80 for an $20 course) or 5 days, by check, prior to course date. Checks, money orders, MasterCard, VISA and Discover are accepted at the door on the day of the course (money orders are preferred.) NO cash or AMEX is accepted at the door. If you  paid on-line, please bring your payment confirmation with you to the course. Classroom space is limited, please pre-register. We reserve the right to cancel any courses due to lack of pre-registration. 

Refunds, less a $10.00 administrative fee, can be made by a request in writing 2 days prior to the course date. You can reschedule a course one time only at no charge after filling out a rescheduling form. Thereafter, a $10 rescheduling fee will be charged. There is a $25 fee for checks returned unpaid.

You must be on time for the course. Late arrivals will NOT be admitted.

Certificates will be available the end of each course. There will be an additional $5 charge if you need both DC and MD certificates for the same course. Effective January 1, 2013 we are uploading your Maryland courses to the Maryland Real Estate Commission's website. You will be able to view your credits.

NEW Maryland Requirement: If your license expires on or after 10/2/08, the Maryland Real Estate Commission will require all active Maryland licensees to complete 15 hours of continuing education. The 15 hours must include: 3.0 hours Legislative, 1.5 hours Fair Housing, 3.0 hours Ethics, Flipping & Predatory Lending. and 7.5 hours of electives. Note: Licensees who do not conduct residential transactions do not have to take Fair Housing, so they would have 9 hours of electives. 

If your license expires on or after January 1, 2012 all licensees will be required to take a 3-hour course in Agency.  Brokers, Branch Office Managers and Team Leaders will be required to take a 3-hour course in Supervision every other renewal cycle in place of Legislative Update.  The number of continuing education courses will remain at 15 hours, which will consist of 10.5 hours mandatory and 4.5 hours elective. 

NOTE: The website is being updated to include information on the new Real Estate Salesperson 60-Hour Pre-licensing Program and the new Real Estate Principles & Practices for Brokers. 

The cost for the Salesperson course is $220 plus the cost of books.  The course meets Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 6:00PM-10:00PM, 
The cost for the Broker course is $1,355 plus the cost of books. (Payment plans are available.  See the "Broker Course" page.) The course meets Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 8:30AM - 3:00PM.
